NOTHING CHANGES WHEN NOTHING CHANGES

Universal Blueprint for Meaningful Change and Long Term Success

Hey there! So, you've wandered into the "About Me" section—brace yourself! I have a habit of oversharing, so if you don't want to know more than you bargained for, I recommend hitting that back button. Still here? Alright, you asked for it!

I was born and raised near Stanford in Northern California. My dad, a Navy man, and my mom, a bit of a spirited character, brought me up in the wild '70s. My siblings were a whopping 7, 14, and 15 years older than me, so let's just say I was the solo kid in a pretty empty nest. Life was… let's call it "interesting." I dabbled in trouble, spent some quality time in the principal's office, and began a drinking journey way too early (we'll save those stories for another book).

Fast forward: by 1981, I found myself in Tucson, Arizona, learning life lessons from the McKinley family (thanks, guys!). I also picked up work in just about every field imaginable, from radio to maintenance, and even had a stint as a club (adult and Dance) DJ in under the name "Big Daddy Sick Mix." Trust me, I could blend AC/DC and Smokey Robinson like no one else.

Today, I'm a proud Area Manager at A1 Garage Door Service and the author of Nothing Changes When Nothing Changes, a book all about making life changes that stick. When I'm not fixing garage doors or writing, I'm dreaming up new projects. You'll see more books, especially about ADHD, and a kids' series inspired by my pug, Miss Ruby. She's about to take on the world, one coloring and kids book at a time.

So, that's the short version. Stick around, check back, and, as they say, nothing changes when nothing changes. Go change something, why don't you? Thanks for stopping by!
